| Southwest SIDS Research Institute is a United Way of Brazoria County agency.
Donations pledged at Employees' Contribution Drives, conducted each fall at businesses
throughout the county, are distributed to area United Way agencies.
United Way funds are used by Southwest SIDS to provide medical, educational,
and emotional support services to area families of Sudden Infant Death
Syndrome and high risk infants. United Way's support allows Southwest SIDS
to provide services on a sliding scale basis, ensuring that every baby
in need of our help is able to obtain it.
Together, we look forward to that day when all infants at risk for SIDS are identifiable
and their deaths preventable. |
